Software yelling at software

*Infinite AI feedback loop has entered the chat*

A blogger or social media influencer is lazy and prompts some LLM with "write 500 words about $foo". They just copy and paste it into whatever platform they're on and post it. Someone reading that spots an obvious AI tell like "in today's fast-paced digital landscape" or maybe a long winded rage bait. This annoys the reader so instead of writing their own critique of the content, they hand the task off to their preferred AI tool with something like "write a scathing reply to this about how AI generated content is destroying writing. And the environment. [lol]".

Meanwhile, another person uses AI to summarize the callout post and prompts their own AI to write a passive aggressive reply accusing everyone involved of being lazy and using AI -- reminding them that they are contributing to corporate greed, environmental harm, misinformation, disinformation, blah, blah, blah.

Generated content driving generated anger, polished by generated phrasing, argued over by people who didn't write any of it.

This is the most hilarious era of the internet: Software yelling at software.
